Interregional project of wood deep processing the way is opened

Within the framework of the "Creation of Interregional Territorial forest industry cluster" project on 4 February 2016 in Yaroslavl the representatives of OOO" Balt-Eco " , the Chairman of the Yaroslavl regional Duma Borovitskiy MV, the Chairman of the Committee of agrarian policy, environment and nature management Okladnikov AB, the “Malinovets–1” company's management conducted negotiations.


The project aims to create a vertically-integrated, full cycle wood processing complex on the territory of the Yaroslavl and Kaliningrad regions (Industrial park “Western Gate”), using the mechanism of state-private partnership. The parties expressed an interest in the implementation of practical steps to carry out the project in the current year. The project has received the status of inter-regional, but the participation of the residents of the industrial park - primarily wood-processing companies from China, will allow to consider the project as an international. Following the results of the negotiations, a working group of representatives of the parties will be formed. It stask is to prepare a "road map" of the project realization.
